Child Porn Found On Abandoned Computer In Park – One Charged

(WIARTON, ON) – Members of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) Child Sexual Exploitation Unit and the Bruce Peninsula OPP Detachment have arrested and charged a Saugeen First Nation man following a child pornography investigation.

In July, 2015, an abandoned computer was located in a community park and turned into the Bruce Peninsula OPP. A subsequent police investigation revealed that the computer contained images of child sexual abuse and that the owner of the computer was a 29 year old Saugeen First Nation male.

On August 20, 2015, police arrested Adam Nathan THOMPSON and charged him with one count each of Possession of Child Pornography and Accessing Child Pornography. The accused will appear for a Bail Hearing on August 21, 2015 in the Ontario Court of Justice in Walkerton, Ontario.
