(NORFOLK COUNTY, ON) – The Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) Norfolk County Detachment has charged a 22 year old male after police responded to a single motor vehicle collision at a Pond Street, Simcoe, Norfolk County, Ontario address.
On Sunday, August 23, 2015 at approximately 9:51p.m., police were contacted by a concerned citizen after a motor vehicle travelling southbound on Pond Street left the roadway striking a multi-use building located on the east side of the roadway. The driver fled the scene and was located a short time later by OPP investigators at his residence.
As a result of the investigation, the OPP have charged 22-year-old Daniel Joseph RAINVILLE of Norfolk County, Ontario with Fail to Remain and Careless Driving contrary to the Highway Traffic Act.
