(Essa Township, Ontario) The Nottawasaga Ontario Provincial Police Crime Unit have been investigating an internet luring involving a 28-year old male and a 14-year old female from Essa Township since the 16th of August 2015.
The male had befriended the female online, and requested to meet in person. During their encounter the female was sexually assaulted.
Michael MONTIS, 28-year old male from Nobelton, Ontario has been arrested and charged with Sexual Interferrence, Sexual Assault and Luring.
He was held for a bail hearing on the 27th of August 2015, and was released. He is further scheduled to appear in court on the 17th of September 2015 to answer to his charges.
