(TOWNSHIP OF GEORGIAN BLUFFS, ON) – On Monday, August 24, 2015 at approximately 1:25 p.m., Grey County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) charged a driver with careless driving after he attempted to pass a stopped vehicle by driving on the right gravel shoulder. The driver lost control of his vehicle, a 1995 Nissan AGS, and collided into the east ditch. The driver suffered minor injuries. The vehicle was towed. The incident occurred on Grey Rd. 18, south of Springmount, in the Township of Georgian Bluffs.
Jean Paul GUTIERREZ MALDONADO, age 22, of Woodbridge, Ontario was issued a Provincial Offence Notice under the Highway Traffic Act (HTA).
