(NORTH BAY, ON) – A member of the North Bay Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) has charged three people with drug related charges. The charges stem from a vehicle stop on Highway 11, City of North Bay. The subsequent investigation led to the seizure of over 30 grams of cocaine and over 6,000 grams of Marihuana. Street value estimated approximately $65,000.
The incident occurred at approximately 3:30 p.m. on August 27, 2015.
Charged with Possession of a Schedule I substance for the purpose of Trafficking – Cocaine and Possession of a Schedule II substance for the purpose of Trafficking -over 3 kg contrary to section 5(2) of the controlled drugs and substances act. (CDSA) are:
Adam COOKE, age 29 of Temiskaming Shores, Ontario
Benjamin FOLEY, age 22 of Temiskaming Shores, Ontario
Tionnie HOSKING, age 22 of Temiskaming Shores, Ontario
All three accused were held for a bail hearing at the Ontario Court of Justice in North Bay, Ontario on August 28, 2015.
