(WELLINGTON NORTH TOWNSHIP, ON) – Today at approximately 7:30 a.m. members of the Wellington County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) responded to a report of a missing four-year-old boy from a residence located on King Street in Mount Forest, Wellington North Township.
Investigation revealed that the boy was last seen in his bed at 10:30 p.m. last night and was missing when his parents went to check on him this morning at 7:00 a.m.
Uniform officers along with the Emergency Response Team (ERT), Canine Unit and the Wellington County OPP Crime unit assisted with the investigation. The area was searched and the child was located at a neighbour’s residence at approximately 8:42 a.m. safe and in good health.
Foul play is not suspected.
