(PETROLIA, ON) – On Friday August 28, 2015, at approximately 6:37 p.m., members of the Lambton County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) were dispatched to a two vehicle motor vehicle collision on Ravenswood Line, Municipality of Lambton Shores.
Lambton OPP received information of a two vehicle motor vehicle collision on Ravenswood Line in the area of Northville Road involving two motor vehicles. Lambton OPP attended the location and observed one vehicle in the north ditch and the second vehicle on the south shoulder of Ravenswood Line. No injuries were reported by either of the involved occupants. However during the investigation, Lambton OPP formed the opinion that one of the involved drivers was impaired due to the consumption of alcoholic beverages. This male party was arrested and transported to the Lambton OPP – Forest Detachment for breath testing which resulted in readings almost three times the legal limit.

The accused will appear in the Sarnia Ontario Court of Justice on Monday September 14, 2015.
The OPP is reminding drivers that any amount of alcohol or other drugs can impair one’s ability to drive and impaired driving remains the leading cause of criminal death in Canada.
