(TOWN OF MINTO, ON) – On August 28, 2015 at approximately 6:30 a.m. members of the Wellington County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) received a report of a theft that occurred at a residence located on Toronto Street in Palmerston, Town of Minto.
Investigation revealed that sometime between August 27, 2015 at 10:30 p.m. and August 28, 2015 at 6:30 a.m. unknown suspect/s entered into a garage which was attached to a residence and removed the bicycles.
OPP is reminding homeowners to double check that their vehicles are locked and that garage doors are closed and secure before retiring for the evening. Theft is a crime of opportunity. Do not give thieves any advantage when it comes to stealing your property.
