Bomb Threat At Youth Facility

(NORTH MIDDLESEX, ON) – On September 2, 2015, at approximately 5:59 a.m., the Middlesex County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) responded to a bomb threat at a youth facility on New Ontario Road.

While police investigated the incident, appropriate resources were deployed, and the facility was locked down.

No suspicious package was located, and the facility has resumed normal operations.

New Ontario Road between Petty Street and Cassidy Road was closed during the investigation. It was reopened at approximately 8:20 a.m.

The Middlesex County OPP Crime Unit continues to investigate this incident.
