Theodoros TSIANOS 135 in an 80

(GEORGIAN BAY TOWNSHIP, ON) – On Thursday September 3, 2015 at 10:34 a.m. an officer from the Southern Georgian Bay Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) observed a motor vehicle travelling at 135km/h in an 80km/h construction zone on Highway 400 in Georgian Bay Township.

Theodoros TSIANOS (age 48) of Toronto, ON has been charged with stunt driving in relation to excessive speed. His driver’s licence has been suspended for 7 days and his 2009 Hummer H2 was impounded. The accused is scheduled to appear in the Ontario Court of Justice in Penetanguishene on October 1st 2015.

Operations Manager S/Sgt. Mike Burton advises, “These kinds of speeds are completely inappropriate and endanger everyone sharing the roadways. The Southern Georgian Bay OPP will be employing a zero tolerance this weekend when dealing with these types of serious Highway Traffic Act offences.”
