(CALEDON, ON) – On August 26th, 2015 officers from the Caledon and Wellington OPP Street Crime Units (SCU) and the Halton Property Crime Unit executed a warrant at a Caledon residence with the assistance from OPP TRU (Tactical Response Unit) and OPP ERT (Emergency Response Team) members. The warrant was issued following a multi-jurisdictional investigation involving the Caledon, Wellington and Dufferin Detachments as well as Halton Regional Police Service, Shelburne Police Service and Orangeville Police Service.
While executing the warrant, officers located stolen lottery tickets, stolen cigarettes, a small quantity of marihuana plants, a pellet gun and cash registers.
Lucas Bourque BOVELL, 22, of No Fixed Address, was arrested and charged with 12 counts of Break and Enter, 16 counts of Breach of Probation, 9 counts of Breach of Recognizance, Produce a Schedule I Substance and Possession of Property Obtained by Crime.
Gaige Peter Jesse DEFINNEY, 23, from Caledon was arrested and charged with 12 counts of Break and Enter, 18 counts of Breach of Recognizance, Possession of Break In Instruments, Possession of a Schedule I Substance, Fraud Under $5,000 and Possession of Property Obtained by Crime.
James GLENN, 19, from Caledon was arrested and charged with 12 counts of Break and Enter, Produce a Schedule I Substance and Possession of Property Obtained by Crime.
The accused persons are to appear at the Ontario Court of Justice in Orangeville to answer to their respective charges.
