(NORFOLK COUNTY, ON) – The Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) Norfolk County Detachment has charged a 17 year old female after police investigated an incident at a Concession 7, Townsend, Norfolk County, Ontario address.
On Friday, September 4, 2015 at approximately 11:45 p.m., two females became involved in verbal altercation which then turned into a physical confrontation related to social media posts.
As a result of investigation, police have charged a 17-year-old female with assault.
The name of the youth will not be released as per the Youth Criminal Justice Act.
She will appear in Provincial Court, Simcoe at a later date to answer to the charge.
