(North Kawartha Township, ON) – Members of the Peterborough County Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) were called to assist a North Kawartha resident who claims her neighbour broke into her shed and is continually harassing her.
Officers determined that the neighbour would be arrested for break, enter and theft and attended his Coon Lake Road address. Police noticed the male as he rode a three wheel ATV into a garage in an attempt to elude arrest. A struggle ensued and the male was taken into custody.
Stewart Charles KEECH (age 24) of North Kawartha Township, ON was arrested and charged with:
Break and Enter
Theft Under $5000
Driving While Disqualified
Fail to comply with Undertaking
Resisting Arrest
The accused has been held in custody pending a Show Cause hearing scheduled for later today.
