(TOWN OF PENETANGUISHENE, ON) – On September 12, 2015 at 9:44 a.m. members of the Southern Georgian Bay Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) responded to a call regarding the theft of a motor vehicle. The 2002 silver Acura was up for sale and was not plated at the time it was stolen from the parking of a business in Penetanguishene, ON.
On September 12, 2015 at 1:10 p.m. following a police investigation, a male party was arrested and charged in relation to theft of the motor vehicle. Cody Michael James BEILSTEIN (age 23) of Penetanguishene, ON has been charged with:
-Possession of Property obtained by Crime contrary to the Criminal Code of Canada
The accused will appear in the Ontario Court of Justice in Midland, Ontario on October 22, 2015.
