(TOWNSHIP OF GEORGIAN BLUFFS, ON) – On Monday, September 14, 2015, at approximately 3:02 p.m., Grey County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) arrested a male for possession of stolen property in a parking lot on Hwy. 6 & 21 in the Township of Georgian Bluffs after he attempted to sell a stolen Gallagher Fence Energizer M150 to a member of the Grey County OPP Crime Unit.
The fencer, which was valued at $219.99 had been stolen from the TSC store in Springmount earlier this summer, was seen offered for sale on the Internet for $100 by an employee of the store, who then notified police.
Raymond Alexander ANGUS, 35, of South Bruce Peninsula was charged with the following criminal offences:
– Theft Under $5,000
– Possession of Property Obtained by Crime Under $5,000
– Fail to Comply with Recognizance
He was also charged with driving while under suspension, use plate not authorized for vehicle and operating a motor vehicle without insurance. A bail hearing was scheduled for Tuesday, September 15, 2015.
