(PRINCE EDWARD COUNTY, ON) – On the morning of August 14, 2015 officers with the Ontario Provincial Police Prince Edward County detachment were called to a commercial business on County Road 27, in the Ward of Hillier to investigate a break and enter that had occurred overnight. A quantity of food and beverages had been stolen.
The police investigation revealed that a similar incident had also occurred at this location a year previous.
Since September 3, 2015 the OPP have arrested three Prince Edward County men in relation to these offences.
The accused; 20-year old Tyler BUSEY-BOWER of Hillier, ON 19-year old Alexandre JOHNSON-LEROUX of Rossmore, ON and 20-year old Jeremy STEPHENS of Rossmore, ON were charged with two counts of Breaking, Entering and Committing contrary to Section 348(1)(b) of the Criminal Code of Canada.
The accused were released from police custody on a promise to appear in the Ontario Court of Justice on September 30, 2015.
