(CITY OF KAWARTHA LAKES, ON) – The Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) from the City of Kawartha Lakes detachment was called to investigate an assault that occurred on September 24 in Woodville.
The victim answered the front door and was then assaulted by the accused. The accused was known to the victim and there is no public safety concern. Charged with Assault contrary to section 266 of the Criminal Code of Canada (CCC) and Unlawfully in a Dwelling House contrary to section 349(1) of the CCC is 20 year old Nolan TRIMBLE.
The accused will appear in the Ontario Court of Justice in Lindsay on October 22, 2015.
