(MUNICIPALITY OF MEAFORD, ON) – On Thursday, September 24, 2015 at approximately 7:57 p.m., Grey County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) received a report of a man causing a disturbance by yelling and screaming in the parking lot of an apartment complex located on Sykes Street North in the Municipality of Meaford.
Police attended and located the man, who was very intoxicated, outside a convenience store nearby. He was arrested and lodged at the Meaford OPP detachment until he was sober.
55-year old William Kevin CARNAHAN of Meaford was issued a Provincial Offence Notice for public intoxication under the Liquor Licence Act.
