(HALDIMAND COUNTY, ON.) – Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) Haldimand County detachment has charged a 75 year old man with several sex offences after conducting a historical sexual assault investigation in the Haldimand County and Niagara Region, ON areas.
Over the past several months Police have been investigating a series of sexual assaults which had occurred between 1977 to 1982 involving a then 10 year old male and 14 year old male. The assaults occurred at locations in Niagara Region, Haldimand County and the United States.
As a result, 75 year old Donald GRECCO of Peel Region, ON has been charged with 2 counts of Gross Indecency and 2 counts of Indecent Assault on a Male. He is to appear in Provincial Court, Cayuga on Tuesday December 8th, 2015 at 2:00 pm.
The incidents occurred while the accused was a Priest at St. Stephen’s Roman Catholic Church, Cayuga, Haldimand County, ON, St. Kevin’s Roman Catholic Church, Welland, ON and St. Thomas More Roman Catholic Church, Niagara Falls, ON.
