(NORFOLK COUNTY, ON) – The Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) Norfolk County Detachment is investigated a break and enter at a Norfolk County Road 23 Houghton, Norfolk County, Ontario address.
On Monday, August 31, 2015 at approximately 8:04 a.m., police received a call from a concerned resident after they discovered that unknowns entered an office area located in a barn on the property.
Through investigation it was determined that on Monday, August 31, 2015 in the early morning hours, unknowns forcibly gained entry into a locked barn. Once inside, unknowns entered an office area and removed a silver coloured Macbook Pro, laptop computer with a Budweiser sticker on the top, a black coloured Acer Aspire, laptop computer and a large quantity of Canadian currency.
The suspect was captured on video surveillance and is being described as a male, white, skinny build, wearing dark rimmed glasses, long sleeved sweater, jeans and black shoes.
The Norfolk County OPP Detachment is continuing to investigate and is seeking assistance from the public. If anyone has any information regarding this incident, or if they can identify the suspect they are being asked to contact the Norfolk County OPP Detachment at 1-888-310-1122.
