(TOWNSHIP OF GEORGIAN BLUFFS, ON) – On Friday, September 25, 2015 at approximately 11:00 a.m.., Grey County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) stopped the driver of a 2000 International tractor trailer on Hwy. 6 & 10, Rockford, in the Township of Georgian Bluffs for not wearing a seatbelt. Further investigation revealed that he had been suspended from driving.
55-year old John SCHMIDT of Haldimand County was issued three Part III Summons for driving while suspended (x2) and failing to properly wear a seatbelt under the Highway Traffic Act.
He is scheduled to appear in court in Owen Sound on October 26, 2015.
