(ORILLIA, ON) – The Orillia Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) has arrested and charged 2 people after receiving information of a drug grow.
On September 25, 2015 the Orillia OPP received information of a possible drug grow near the 5th Side Road in Ramara Township.
The Orillia OPP Street Crime Unit (SCU), and Central Region Emergency Response Team (ERT) responded to the complaint and located two males in the outside marihuana grow of approximately 400 plants.
Jad KARAM, 37 years old of Windsor, has been charged with Possession of Cannabis Marihuana and Production of Cannabis Marihuana. He was held in custody pending a bail hearing in Barrie court on September 28, 2015.
Sandy FIGUEREDO-LORENZO, 28 years old of Windsor, has been charged with Possession of Cannabis Marihuana and Production of Cannabis Marihuana. He was released on a Promise to Appear in Orillia court on October 27, 2015.
