(ESPANOLA, ON)- On September 27, 2015 at approximately 6:54 p.m., officers from the Espanola Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) responded to a break and incident at a property situated on Cutler Lake Road, in the Townships of Sables-Spanish River.
As a result of the investigation, police located and arrested two individuals for the break and enter. Property from the break and enter was recovered and drugs seized as a result of the arrests.
Travis ROBERTS, 35 years of age from Webbwood, was arrested and charged with the following offences:
1. Driving While Disqualified, contrary to the Criminal Code
2. Break, Enter a Dwelling House with the Intent to Commit an Indictable Offence, contrary to the Criminal Code
3. Possession of Property Obtained by Crime Under $5000.00, contrary to the Criminal Code
4. Unauthorized Possession of a Firearm, contrary to the Criminal Code.
5. Possession of a Firearm, Prohibited or Restricted Obtained by Crime, contrary to the Criminal Code
6. Possession of a Controlled Substance, contrary to the Controlled Drugs and Substances Act (CDSA)
ROBERTS will appear before the Ontario Court of Justice in Espanola, on November 3, 2015, to answer to his charges.
Trevor MIDDLETON, 42 years of age from Webbwood, was arrested and charged with the following offences:
1. Break, Enter a Dwelling House Commit an Indictable Offence, contrary to the Criminal Code
2. Possession of Property Obtained by Crime Under $5,000.00, contrary to the Criminal Code
3. Unauthorized Possession of a Firearm, contrary to the Criminal Code
4. Possession of a Firearm, Prohibited or Restricted Obtained by Crime, contrary to the Criminal Code
5. Possession of a Controlled Substance, contrary to the Controlled Drugs and Substances Act (CDSA)
MIDDLETON is being held in custody pending a court appearance at the Ontario Court of Justice in Sudbury, on October 1, 2015.
