(MOOSONEE, ON) – At approximately 4:45 am on October 8, 2015 the Moosonee Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) responded to an intrusion alarm at The Brick located on Revillon Road in Moosonee.
Officers attended the business and located the rear door to be ajar. The business was cleared with no signs of the intruder. An extensive search of the surrounding area was completed however police were unable to locate any suspects.
There was a small amount of damage done to the interior of the store and the intruder(s) made off with stolen items including a rust orange coloured Fender Guitar.
The Moosonee OPP would like to take this opportunity to remind the public to be weary of purchasing items from others. Possessing property that has been obtained through a crime, like breaking and entering, is a crime and could result in criminal charges.
