(INGERSOLL, ON.) – On October 12, 2015 shortly before 11:30 a.m., an officer from the Oxford County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) conducted a traffic stop on North Town Line in Ingersoll.
Through police investigation it was determined that the female driver of the Ford vehicle was subsequently found to be under the influence of alcohol. She was requested to provide a sample of her breath into an approved roadside screening device which registered a fail and she was subsequently arrested. Her driver’s licence was suspended for 90 days and vehicle impounded for 7 days.
Eula COWAN, 40-years-old, of Ingersoll, is charged with the following:
· Operate a Motor Vehicle – Over 80 mgs. of alcohol in blood
· Operate a Motor Vehicle – Impaired
The accused was released on a Promise to Appear with a future court date.
