Jean R. GRENIER – Sexual Assault, Indecent Assault, Sexual Interference

(BLIND RIVER, ON) –The Blind River Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) has laid additional charges against a male in relation to an ongoing investigation into allegations of sexual assault.

The OPP received additional complaints dating between1966-1989. As a result of the OPP ongoing investigation and the new victims coming forward, Jean R. GRENIER, 70 years old, of Saint-Hyacinthe, Quebec (formally of Spanish, Ontario) now faces the following addition charges:

indecent assault, contrary to the Criminal Code of Canada (6 counts),

sexual assault, contrary to the Criminal Code of Canada (2 counts)

sexual interference, contrary to the Criminal Code of Canada
