Daytime Residential Break And Enters

(MUNICIPALITY OF GREY HIGHLANDS, ON) – On Tuesday, October 20, 2015, Grey County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) received a report of a break-in and theft to a rural property located on the Artemesia-Glenelg Town Line in the Municipality of Grey Highlands.

Sometime between 8:00 a.m. and 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday, October 20th, unknown person(s) forcibly entered the residence and stole numerous items including jewelry and antique pocket watches.

Also stolen was a black, 2008 Arctic Cat TRV All-Terrain Vehicle (ATV), with Ontario plate 45KA7, VIN: 4UF08ATV38T218216.

Grey County OPP with the assistance of the Forensic Identification Services Unit – Mount Forest continues to investigate.

Police urge residents to be vigilant and to contact police immediately to report any suspicious people, vehicles or activities. Residents are also reminded to always secure their homes and other property even during short absences.
