(COLLINGWOOD, ON) Officers from the Collingwood and The Blue Mountains detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) charged a male driver with drinking and driving offences after receiving information about a possible impaired driver on First Street.
On the 20th of October 2015 at 2:45am, OPP officers received information from a witness advising of a vehicle in a parking lot on First Street with a possible impaired driver sitting behind the wheel. Officers located the immobilized vehicle and quickly determined the male driver was under the influence of alcohol which led to his arrest and transport to Collingwood detachment for processing.
Charged is 48 year-old Bradley TENNANT of New Tecumseth, he is facing charges of care or control of a motor vehicle while impaired by alcohol and care or control over 80 milligrams of alcohol in blood. He was held for bail court in Barrie on the 21st of October 2015.
