Male Arrested After Store In US Received Threats

(Selwyn Township, ON) – Members of the Peterborough Crime Unit of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) were called to assist the Patton Township Police Department after threats were received at a Pennsylvania store.

From September 24, 2015 until October 23, 2015, a retail chain store located in State College, Pennsylvania received seven threats directed at the store by telephone. The Patton Township Police Department and the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) identified the origin of the calls and contacted with the OPP for assistance.

Yesterday, Peterborough County OPP Crime Unit members executed a search warrant on Bridgenorth area residence. Andrew WELLS-SCOTT (age 20) was arrested and charged with four counts of:

The accused was held in custody and is scheduled to appear for a Bail Hearing at the Ontario Court of Justice located in Peterborough Provincial Court later today.
