(THAMES CENTRE, ON) – The Middlesex County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) are currently conducting a death investigation.
At approximately 12:55 p.m. on November 3, 2015, members of the Middlesex County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP), and the Thames Centre Fire Department, responded to a structure fire at a residential address in the 100 block of Elgin Road. Upon arrival, they discovered a deceased person at the scene.
The investigation is in its early stages, and there is little information at this time. The cause of the fire is under investigation, and the Office of the Fire Marshall (OFM) has been notified.
Elgin Road between Dundas Street and Trafalgar Road is closed. Motorists will have to find alternative routes.
