(BALA, ON) – Bracebridge Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) responded to a single vehicle collision at the LCBO store in Bala early Sunday morning, November 1st 2015 just before 4:30 a.m. The vehicle left the roadway and crashed into the LCBO store, the driver suffered minor injuries and was taken to hospital for treatment.
Police conducted an investigation into the collision and subsequently arrested and charged 26 year-old Branden MACLEOD of Bala with Impaired Operation of a Motor Vehicle CC 253(1)(a) and Over 80 CC 253 (1)(b). He will appear in the Ontario Court of Justice in Bracebridge on December 22nd, 2015 to answer to his charges. The accused received an immediate 90 day driver’s licence suspension and further had his vehicle towed and impounded.
