Loretta BRETCHNEIDER – Drunk Driving

(TOWN OF MINTO, ON) – On November 6, 2015 at approximately 8:03 p.m. Wellington County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) officers responded to a driving complaint and located a 2015 Ford in a ditch on Highway 9 near the Thirteenth Line, Town of Minto. Police believed that the female driver was impaired by alcohol. She was arrested and transported to a local OPP Operation Centre for further testing.

The driver’s licence has been suspended for 90 days and the vehicle impounded for a period of seven days as per statute.

48-year-old Loretta BRETCHNEIDER from the Town of Minto has been charged with Impaired Driving and Over 80 mgs contrary to the Criminal Code of Canada. She is scheduled to appear in Guelph Criminal Court on December 1, 2015.
