Pedestrian Seriously Injured In Hit-And-Run

(KINGSVILLE, ON) – OPP are currently investigating a fail to remain motor vehicle collision that occurred this evening in Kingsville.

Shortly before 6 pm, a 46 year old male pedestrian was crossing Road 2 at Division Road when he was struck by a white pick up truck that was travelling south on Division Road and had made a left turn, east onto Road 2. After striking the pedestrian the pick up failed to stop and continued east.

The pedestrian has been transported to an area hospital with serious injuries. Road 2 between Division Road and Jasperson Road in Kingsville is currently closed.

Police are requesting the public’s assistance in locating the white pick up. There is no make or model at this time, but police suspect that there could possibly damage to the front end and hood area.
