(TOWNSHIP OF GEORGIAN BLUFFS, ON) – On Monday, November 16, 2015 at approximately 12:21 a.m., Grey County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) attended Hwy. 6 & 10, north of Rockford, in the Township of Georgian Bluffs, after a concerned motorist called to report she had observed a man laying down in the middle of the highway before getting up and going into a bush nearby.
The male, who emerged from the bush shortly after police arrived, was found to be disoriented and unsteady on his feet.
The 43-year old man from Essa Township was apprehended under the Mental Health Act (MHA) and was transported to hospital for assessment. He did not appear to be physically injured.
