Swastikas In School Bathroom Triggers Police Investigation

(CENTRE WELLINGTON TOWNSHIP, ON) – On November 17, 2015 at approximately 2:15 p.m. members of the Wellington County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) received report of a mischief occurrence at the Centre Wellington District High School located on Scotland Street in Fergus, Centre Wellington Township.

Officers attended the third floor boy’s bathroom at the school and located three drawings on the wall, which included two swastikas. White chalk was used to draw the pictures. The graffiti was photographed prior to being removed by staff at the school.

Damage to property is considered mischief which is a criminal offence.
