(TOWNSHIP OF ESSA) – On November 19, 2015, members of the Nottawasaga Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) Street Crime Unit, assisted by the OPP Central Region Drug Enforcement Unit, executed a drug search warrant on a residence outside of the Angus area.
The investigation resulted in the seizure of cannabis marihuana, cocaine, and psilocybin (magic mushrooms). Cell phones and a sum of cash were also seized as proceeds of crime. There is a street value of $3000.00.
Tyler MARTIN, a 23 year old male of Springwater Township has been arrested and charged with:
– 2 counts of Possession of a Controlled Substance
– 2 counts of Possession for the Purpose of Trafficking
He is to appear in the Ontario Court of Justice located in Bradford on January 7, 2016.
