On Wed Aug 26, 2015 at approx. 1:53am, a fire in the backyard of 25 Tamvale Crescent awoke neighbours as it spread to the nearby semi-detached residences, engulfing the dwellings. All parties were able to exit their residences, prior to the fire spreading inside Due to smoke inhalation one resident was transported to St. Marys Hospital to be accessed. The fire was deemed to be accidental and is not suspicious. The damage is believed to be approx. $300,000 for both residences.
