Confidential sources have informed us that current director of Public Works, kelly church, has finally caved to Public pressure and has re-instated dumping of the recycle bins twice a week.
Countless people have been turned away from the Reid Road landfill this summer because of kelly church’s ego battle with a local business. One result of this pointless battle was kelly church reduced the number of times the recycle bins are emptied each week to once. Once the bins were full the Public was simply sent back home with their recyclables.
A bin for household garbage is still missing. Currently everyone with garbage has to drive to the “top of the hill” to unload their trash. Flat tires are fairly common, and the terrain is really only suitable for pickup trucks and people wearing safety shoes/boots.
Returning the household garbage bin would make things safer and much more convenient for everyone using the Reid Road landfill.
