The Chatham-Kent Police Service responded to 90 calls for service in the last 24 hours. One person was arrested.
Man Charged with Failing to Comply CK15030778
Shortly after 1:00pm on October 11th, police were called to Walmart for a report of a male party acting suspicious in the store. Police arrested the 40 year old Windsor man for bail violations. He was held for a bail hearing.
Fire incident CK15030795
Around 3:30pm, police were dispatched to a fire in Erieau, where a man had started a bonfire in his backyard, resulting in the fire spreading to the residence on the property. The fire was quickly extinguished and damage was minimal. There were no injuries and charges are pending.
R.I.D.E.
Chatham-Kent Police Officers conducted a RIDE check in Chatham last evening. In total, 200 vehicles were checked with no infractions reported.
