On Friday night the second annual Festival Of Lanterns will take place in Wingham where dozens/hundreds of carved pumpkins will be on display on Josephine Street and Town Hall. Everyone reading this is encouraged to participate and bring their friends and family to Wingham to enjoy this new event. The lighting of the lanterns will take place around 6:15 and the Public can enjoy them for several hours. Story-time starts at 6:30 beside the Museum on Josephine Street. Our Community is still mourning over the cancellation of the famous Blyth Witches Walk, and some Citizens regret not getting more involved in their Community. If you snooze, you will lose everything. I doubt you disbelieve me, but if you do, walk down Josephine Street and count the vacant and converted storefronts. Please consider volunteering and championing the Blyth Witches Walk so it will return bigger and better in 2016.
