Brantford Crime Briefs – November 3, 2015

This week is Crime Prevention Week in Ontario

The theme this year is Community Safety and Well-Being – A Shared Commitment

The ‘Provincial Crime Prevention Week’ takes place with the support of the Government of Ontario’s Ministry of Community Safety and Correctional Services, the Ontario Association of Chiefs of Police and police services across Ontario.

Together we are reaching out to our communities and working with community groups to highlight the importance of crime prevention as a means to achieving safer and healthier communities.

Criminals today are sophisticated and tech savvy. Crime prevention is a shared responsibility between police, governments, businesses, and community members. It’s important that the community know how to protect themselves. Follow along on our twitter feed for our crime prevention messages @BrantfordPolice and/or visit our website www.brantfordpolice.ca for valuable crime prevention brochures and messages.
