(TILLSONBURG, ON.) – On Sunday, November 14, 2015 the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) Organized Crime Enforcement Bureau – Drug Enforcement Unit, and Oxford County OPP, executed a Controlled Drugs and Substances Act search warrant at a property on Delevan Crescent in Tillsonburg.
As a result of the investigation, one male and one female suspect have been arrested; scales, packaging material and an estimated $3,000 in cannabis marihuana, heroin and Percocet tablets were seized.
47-year old Thaddeus KOZA of Tillsonburg was charged under the Controlled Drugs and Substances Act with the following:
Possession of a Schedule I substance for the purpose of trafficking – Heroin
Possession of a Schedule II substance for the purpose of trafficking – Other Drugs
Possession of a Schedule I substance – Other Drugs (Two Counts)
36-year-old Chrystal BURWELL of Tillsonburg was charged under the Controlled Drugs and Substances Act with the following:
Possession of a Schedule I substance for the purpose of trafficking – Heroin
Possession of a Schedule I substance for the purpose of trafficking – Other Drugs
Possession of a Schedule II substance for the purpose of trafficking – Under 30 grams
Fail to Comply with Recognizance (Two Counts)
Possession of Property Obtained by Crime – Under $5,000 (Two Counts)
Both parties appeared for a bail hearing at the Ontario Court of Justice in Woodstock.
