(LAKESHORE, ON) – The Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) in Lakeshore was called by a citizen to report a possible impaired driver on Essex County Road 46 at a gas station on November 21, 2015 at approximately 1:45 a.m.
The suspect vehicle, a silver Intrepid, had pulled into the gas station and blocked other vehicles. The driver, a female, was acting strangely and police were notified.
Upon speaking to the driver, officers determined that she was exhibiting signs of impairment. A check of the female revealed that she was also breaching conditions imposed to her from a previous criminal charge. Officers also located marihuana inside her vehicle.
Crystal BARRY, age 34 of Essex was charged with Impaired Operation of a Motor Vehicle, Exceed 80 Milligrams Blood Alcohol Content, Fail To Comply with Undertaking and Possession of a Schedule II Substance. She was held for a bail hearing.
