(LUCAN BIDDULPH, ON) – The Middlesex County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) have arrested and charged a male in relation to a break and enter incident at a pharmacy in Lucan Biddulph Ontario.
On September 12, 2015, at approximately 6:07 a.m., the Middlesex County OPP responded to a break and enter at a pharmacy on Main Street. The front door of the pharmacy was damaged, the interior of the building was accessed, and a quantity of narcotics was stolen.
As a result of the police investigation, 29-year-old Gibson CHOOKOMOOLIN, from Walpole Island First Nation, Ontario, has been charged with break, enter a place – commit indictable offence, possession of break in instruments, theft over $5000, possession of property obtained by crime over $5000 – in Canada, fail to comply with recognizance, assault a peace officer with a weapon, and mischief, contrary to the Criminal Code of Canada. He was further charged under the Controlled Drugs and Substances Act (CDSA) with possession of a schedule I substance for the purpose of trafficking X4.
The accused was held in custody, and is scheduled to answer the charges in the London courts on December 1, 2015.
