Disturbance Involving Weapons
On Thursday, November 26, 2015 at 9:18pm, Guelph Police were called to a residence in the west end of Guelph, where there was a report of a disturbance. When police arrived at the residence to investigate, three suspects fled on bicycles. All three suspects were found and arrested.
A 16 year old male was charged with: weapons dangerous, resist arrest, obstruct police, utter death threats, assault with a weapon, carry concealed weapon, wear disguise with intent to commit an indictable offence and two counts of breaching a court order.
A 19 year old Guelph male was charged with: five counts of weapons dangerous, possession of a prohibited weapon, carry concealed weapon, wear disguise with intent to commit an indictable offence, conspiracy to commit an indictable offence and two counts of breaching a probation order.
A 23 year old Guelph male was charged with: weapons dangerous, wear a disguise with intent to commit an indictable offence, conspiracy to commit an indictable offence and one count of breaching a court order.
All three suspects were held for a bail hearing.
There were no serious injuries as a result of this incident.
Disturbance
On Friday, November 27, 2015 at 2:30am, Guelph Police were called to a residence on Gordon Street for a report of a disturbance. Concerned citizens reported that items were being thrown off of a sixth floor balcony. As a result of the investigation, John Lanigan, a 19 year old Burlington male, was arrested and charged with mischief under $5000. He has a December 29, 2015 court date.
