(COLLINGWOOD, ON) Officers from the Collingwood and The Blue Mountains detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) have charged an education assistant from a local school after investigating an assault complaint.
On the 24th of November 2015, OPP officers investigated a complaint of an assault upon an elementary student at a Collingwood school. As a result of this investigation, officers have now charged an education assistant with a criminal offence.
Charged is 60 year-old Marilou BEATSON of Collingwood, she is charged with assault and is to appear in Collingwood court on the 15th of December 2015.
