Woman Charged After Hitting Hydro Pole

(WEST GREY TWP, ON) – On December 5, 2015 at 11:18 a.m., the Grey County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) received a report that a car had struck a hydro pole along Highway 10 in West Grey Township. Officers arrived with Grey County paramedics and the Grey Highlands Fire Department to find that a Grey Chrysler 200 had left the highway and struck a hydro pole near side road 80. The driver, a 49-year-old Mississauga woman, was charged with careless driving. There were minor injuries reported at the scene.
