(HALIBURTON, ON) On Monday December 7, 2015 at approximately 11:20 am officers from the Haliburton Highlands OPP were dispatched to a single motor vehicle collision on the Kashagawigamog Lake Road in Dysart et al.
The driver of the Canada Post mail truck swerved to miss a deer. The vehicle rolled into the ditch and struck a tree sustaining severe damage. The lone female occupant was trapped with serious injuries.
The driver was extricated by the Dysart et al Fire Department and was transported by ambulance to the Haliburton Hospital for treatment.
No charges were laid in this incident.
