(CITY OF GUELPH, ON) – On December 9, 2015 at approximately 6:42 p.m. a Wellington County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) officer observed a 2004 Hyundai northbound on Woolwich Street fail to stop for a red light and turned on to Woodlawn Road, Guelph.
A traffic stop was done and the male driver was arrested on an outstanding warrant. During the investigation, bear spray and heroin were located. He was also not following several court orders.
29-year-old Tyler BINNS of Guelph has been charged with;
Fail to Comply With Recognizance x3-Criminal Code (C.C.)
Unauthorized Possession of a Weapon-C.C.
Possession of Heroin-Controlled Drugs and Substances Act.
Fail to Comply with Probation Order
Fail to Stop for Red Light-Highway Traffic Act
He is scheduled to appear in Guelph Bail Court on December 10, 2015.
