(ZORRA TOWNSHIP, ON.) – On December 13, 2015 shortly after 5:45 a.m. Oxford County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP), responded to a report of an armed robbery at the Mac’s Milk convenience store located on Road 68, near Stanley Street in the village of Thamesford.
Investigation indicated that a male suspect entered the store shortly before 5:45 a.m. and approached the lone female employee. The suspect threatened the store employee with a handgun and demanded cash. The suspect fled the store on foot with a quantity of Canadian Currency, and got into a vehicle which left in an unknown direction. The store employee was not injured.
Further information will be released as it becomes available. The robbery remains under investigation.
